Google's essential services, such as Gmail, Google Plus, Calendar, and Docs, was troubled at night (01/24/2014). As a result of these problems, the service could not be accessed by users for the time being.
Google's own party already spoke about the issue. According to Ben Treynor, Google's VP of Engineering, the company's official blog, the main cause of these problems come from bugs or "ticks" on the internal software.
The bugs make data requests by users are ignored by the system, and Google services that have been mentioned earlier to error.
"Internal system that generates configuration - basically, the information that tells other systems to comply - see a bug in the software and start generating incorrect configuration," Treynor wrote.
"Incorrect configuration is sent to the service live for the next 15 minutes, causing the user to query the data they are ignored, and the service, in turn, has an error," said Treynor.
According to Google, about 10 percent of those users affected by this issue . The duration of each user interference seems to vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Due to the disorder, Google also apologized.
"Whether the effect is short or lasts for one hour, please accept our apologies," Treynor said.
