FIA Announces 2014 Season F1 racer Numbers

Sebastian Vettel wore # 1

FIA F1 racer officially announced numbers that will compete in the 2014 season . Each number can now be used for rider career in F1 . According to the FIA , the new regulation aims to make drivers can commercialize number.

This provision changed the numbering system , the results of previous berdaarkan standings the previous season . The whole rider entitled to make a choice of three numbers . If there is a clash , the highest ranked rider in the standings last season obtain a preferred choice.

Previous season's champions are entitled to wear # 1 ( if desired ) , while other riders may choose numbers 2-99 . F1 Champion Sebastian Vettel - 2013 - choose # 1 , and # 5 , if not become a champion again .
