PEOPLE Uros , a small tribe in South America in the area of Peru , has made living arrangements for themselves which is very unique . Initially , they did not want to be found anywhere else in the entire world .

They live mostly on artificial floating island itself . The islands are created as a protection against other more powerful tribes over a lake , and became the largest in South America . The island actually provide protection to them as it is quite isolated and is located about 3,000 meters above sea level .

However , the Uros people do not seem satisfied with the protection of the island alone . They then went one step further to make the security fence of reeds in each suburb of the island . This natural substance also allows the floating Uros create domicile system that allows them to be quickly moved from the mainland in any emergency . The island is named Tortora . They created Tortora Island with caution so as not known to anyone.
