Disaster, Travelers Ship in India
A total of 21 people were reported killed after a boat full of tourists the best in the Andaman Sea near the town of Port Blair on Sunday, January 27, 2014. A total of 23 passengers were rescued, but two other passengers were still missing.

Quoted from Hindustan Times, the ship sank during a journey from Ross Island to the North Bay at four o'clock in the afternoon local time.

Sources in the district administration said the ship was only a capacity of 25 people. However, the ship was actually carrying capacity almost twice as much. Overloading was suspected to be the cause of the vessel overturned.

It capsized boat incident often happens in India, which caused great concern about the safety of transportation in this country.

Responding to incidents in, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed shock and sorrow over the death of 21 citizens. He ordered the officials concerned to immediately provide all necessary assistance to the victims, including searching the missing.
