In the eyes of the Sahara Desert

In the eyes of the Sahara Desert
 The Sahara Desert
This structure is also known as the eye of the eye or eyes blue Saharan Africa , is circular and prominent geological feature in the Sahara desert in Mauritania near Ouadane . This structure has a diameter of 40-50 km form the concentric circles that is easily visible from space . Structure of prominent circular feature in the Sahara desert has attracted attention since the early space missions because it looks like a giant bull's eye .

Originally interpreted as an asteroid impact structure because of its high level of circularity , and then as a structure formed by a volcanic eruption also seems unlikely because of the lack of volcanic or igneous domes , is now said to be very symmetrical and very eroded geology of the dome collapsed . So now considered by many to be caused by uplifted rock carved by erosion . But the fact that the " ring " , is equal to the center and a circular structure remains a mystery .

This is an interesting viewpoint and deserves further investigation . However, this area is quite dangerous for the moment . The first thing to do is investigate the depressed corridor access to the " eye " of the West . This is probably the ancient canal or delta and the only access to the Atlantic Ocean . It is much easier to get a result there directly because of " eyes " piecemeal collapse and geological changes that make the discovery difficult .

In the eyes of the Sahara Desert

Most experts geological data there is says : " According to the data field mapping and aeromagnetic , gabbroic rocks forming two concentric rings . Rings is approximately 20 m wide and located about 3 km from the center of the structure . Outer ring is approximately 50 m in width and is located about 7 up to 8 km from the center of the structure . Thirty-two carbonatite dikes have been mapped in the structure .

Dikes are generally about 300 m long and usually 1 to 4 m wide . They consist of a large carbonatites are largely devoid of vesicles . Carbonatite rocks have been dated as cause has cooled between 94-104 million years ago . A plug kimberlitic has been found in the northern part of the structure . Kimberlite was estimated to be approximately 99 million years . This is an intrusive igneous rock is interpreted as an indication of alkaline igneous intrusions large current and underlying structures are created by lifting stones on top " .

When it comes to the age of 100 million years of geological structure , we have to remember this , but if the old stratas are lifted it is normal . And we get extensive hydrothermal alteration and rhyolite and gabbros central megabreccia created by hydrothermal dissolution and collapse there his experts know that 40,000 years ago there was a large lake in the Sahara .

We know that the Sahara still has moisture 6500BC . Sahara desert which covers ten African countries with 9.4 million square kilometers is 100 Million years ago, all covered by the sea . So in any case it is assumed that this is a viable research attention .
