Microsoft knew that Sony would be touting sales figures PS4 in CES exhibition in Las Vegas, USA. Because it is not surprising that the company’s sales force trying to steal start by first announcing the sale of Xbox One, on Monday (01/06/2013).
Bad luck for Microsoft, as reported by BGR, the following Sony PS4 announced global sales figures just a day later, with larger numbers, at 4.2 million units, versus the Xbox One who has sold 3 million units worldwide. Arguably it is the PS4 is more salable than the Xbox.
Information submitted directly by Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai was derived from sales data from the PS4 early start available on 15 November 2013 until 28 December of the same year. PS4 amount sold to end - consumers not only sent to the store - called greater than 4.2 million units.
Previously, on December 1, 2013, Sony announced the PS4 managed to sell as many as 2.1 million units. That is, PS4 sales doubled in less than a month.
In addition, Sony also announced that it has managed to sell 9.7 million copies of the game worldwide until December 28, 2013.
