Little Eye Labs is a startup that makes tools for monitoring and optimizing the performance of Android applications . According to the website Tech Crunch ( 07/01/2014 ) , Facebook bought the startup for around 10 to 15 million U.S. dollars .
The whole team then Little Eye Labs will be based at the headquarters of Facebook in Menlo Park , California . They got a responsibility to create and develop the performance of the Facebook social networking application on Android .
" For us , this is an opportunity to provide for a change of more than 1 billion Facebook users , " writes Little Eye Labs .
Meanwhile , Subbu Subramanian , Facebook Engineer Manager said , " The technology that Little Eye Labs will help us improve the Android codebase for the application to be more efficient and high performance . "
About two years ago , Facebook for Android is criticized because the application is running slow complained . Mark Zuckerberg had even asked its employees to use Android smartphones to feel his own experience , so that it can correct the deficiencies .
